There are so many amazing new products in the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure, it was hard to choose what to order first.  For some reason, the carrots in 'Thanks a Bunch' sang to me and having a musical background 'Enjoy the Rhythm' was a must have!  The industrial look of the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder provided the perfect background for these rockin' carrots.  The carrots are stamped in Pumpkin Pie with Pear Pizzazz for their tops, for which I used the branch from the 'Nuts about Squirrels' stamp set in the Annual Catalogue.  Their eyes are stamped in Momento, again with the squirrel stamp. I have used Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Bronze and Ivory Blends to colour the drum kit and added Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.  The guitar is coloured with Real Red and Smoky Slate.  For the grass I stamped in Soft Succulent and Pear Pizzazz ink. The sentiments are taken from 'Enjoy the Rhythm' and have b...

There's a lot to love in the new January to June Mini Catalogue it was difficult to choose which set to use for my project.  Given my love for rainbows, I just had to go for the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set. My son needed to send some Thank You cards, so I created a masculine card by using Momento black ink and Versamark with silver embossing powder.  Given that Myles is car mad, I added a pop of colour with the Driving By stamp set from Sale-a-bration paired with the Sunshine and Rainbows DSP. My son described it as "awesome" ...... what do you think? Hop on over to the next Pootler to see their amazing creation. You are invited to the Inlinkz link party! Click here to enter

There are so many beautiful stamp sets in the new catalogue but I chose Hand Penned for this project.  I love the subtle elegance of this card using the dies to create a background to a pop of colour with the stamped image. The inks I have used are So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent.  The new 2021-2023 In Colours work so well with our existing colour palette.  To complete the card I added 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels. I hope you've enjoyed this project and it has inspired you.  Hop over to another of our incredibly creative team. You are invited to the Inlinkz link party! Click here to enter

I decided to make the Borders to Backgrounds stamp set the *star* of this cards (excuse the pun).  As we are in lockdown in the UK, I felt I needed to make something bright and cheery to lighten the mood. I inked the star border stamp using sponge daubers and Real Red, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Pacific Point.  I then stamped a complete sheet of Whisper White using this method. Using the Curvy Dies, I cut a piece of black cardstock and used Granny Apple Green as a mat.  The  word PAPER was cut with the Playful Alphabet dies.  I stamped the 'Hugs, Prayers, Love' and 'Sending positive thoughts and feel-good wishes' sentiments (AC)in Versamark and embossed in white before fussy cutting the sentiments that I wanted to use on my project. Finally I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Elegant Faceted Gems and finished the card off with a white twine bow. I hope this card has brightened your day and encourages you to send some paper hugs. ...

There are so many lovely sets to chose from in the new January to June mini catalogue but I decided to go for the Art Gallery bundle and Borders to Background stamp set for my first order and chose the stunning Oh So Ombre DSP from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  I have partnered these together here...... I cut a panel of Whisper White with the Curvy die and then manipulated the dotty border stamp to the shape of the curve.  I heat embossed this in gold.  The inks I used for the flowers were Blushing Bride and Rich Razzleberry and gold embossing on this too.  After deciding on the positioning of the flower and stem, I stamped the flower image direct to the Whisper White layer and then mounted the die cut image on dimensionals over it.  This was then attached to a sheet of the Oh So Ombre dsp which I had run through the Scripty 3D embossing folder.  I used one of the many sentiments from the Art Gallery stamp set and cut that using the co-ordinating di...
